Ongoing education

So, we've been to Blossom's Eating for Two class, Childbirth Preparation, Breastfeeding Basics and, today, Baby Care. I now know how to put on a nappy, be it a cloth one or a disposable; put one on a baby, that is.

We have Surviving The First Six Weeks coming up next week, plus Adult, Infant & Child CPR soon afterwards and Infant Massage in June. No-one can say we're not getting ourselves up to speed.

We have just over three weeks to go before Franbert launches him/herself upon us; perhaps less. Who knows? Crunch time is almost here, but it's still hard to believe that a birth will come to pass, rendering Sarah and me both parents. As much as I'm looking forward to it, it's still hard to take in and accept that this really is going to happen.

Oh well; a few weeks from now, there will be no denying it.

That's right, there will be no denying it. And in the realm of "things you can do to prepare" I doubt any two people have ever done more. In the meantime, the grandparents-to-be will enjoy their last few weeks of freedom from another generational leap.
