The wedding ceremony itself will be in Port Clyde. The boat ride the night before will also leave from there. Port Clyde is a small fishing village with a few shops, but not much commercial to do. There are lots of nice walks and pretty scenery, though. Thomaston is just up the peninsula from Port Clyde. It's an old ship-building town. Rockland is the nearest city. It has a main street with shops, art galleries, restaurants and the Farnsworth Museum. Rockland also has a large supermarket, useful for those intending to rent houses and do their own cooking. The reception will be in Rockport. Camden is a popular town for tourists, with great shops, restaurants, art galleries, and a stupendous harbor which also hosts the Windjammer Festival on Labor Day Weekend.
